Home Learning for Year 2
Hello everyone!
We hope you and all your family are well and have managed to enjoy some time in the sunshine over the Easter holidays. We have all had a busy few weeks – Miss Helan has been looking after her beautiful new cat called Olive, Mr Carr has been learning how to play the guitar and reading lots of books, Miss Azaim has enjoyed the sunshine and having time to read a good book, and I have been doing lots of gardening (whilst also making Miss Helan send me lots of pictures of Olive – well you all know how much I love cats!)
Hopefully you have been managing to do your home learning ok. Please remember that if you need any help, you or your grown –up can email us at year2@dale.derby.sch.uk and we will email you back. You can email us even if you just want to say ‘hello’, as we are missing you so much and would love to hear from you!
I know that it seems very strange not being at school, and you may be feeling a bit bored and want to see your friends, but for now being at home is best. It will not be forever and before you know it will be back together again. We have been thinking of lots of fun learning we can do when we are back at school but for now keep doing your home learning, help your grown-ups do jobs around the house and take care of yourselves and your families.
