Home Learning for FS2
Hello FS 😊
We hope you have all had a lovely break and fun in the sunshine. We have loved looking through the pictures you have sent us of your learning and the things you have been busy doing. Have you been doing your exercises with Joe Wicks or following some Just Dance routines – send us a picture of your favourite move! HERE is one for you to try!
Don’t forget to clap for the key workers at 8pm every Thursday - Mrs Roberts has been going out with her saucepan and wooden spoon! Remember, please keep getting in touch with us using our FS email address - if you want to ask a question about your learning, to send us a picture of what you have been up to or just to say hello ask your grown up to send us a message. We miss you all and we will see you all soon.
Love and best wishes from the FS team 😊 PS. Hope you enjoy Monday's video...

FREE PHONICS LESSONS!
Dear FS Parents/Carers
We are pleased to let you know that your child can receive a daily phonics lesson whilst schools are closed. Phonics is the way we teach children to recognise the sounds in words. It helps your child to learn to read and is an essential part of your child’s education.
Please make this a new task at 10am every morning.

Read the story to a grown up. Find all the ‘oa’ words and make a list in your journals. Can you think of anymore “oa” words to add?
Joan the Goat.
One day Joan the goat put on her coat and went out in the rain. She had a yellow boat and she wanted to float on a moat. She went to the moat but it had no water. Joan got mad and trotted past the coast, where she saw Mr Toad who was munching on toast. She moaned and groaned to him. Her throat got croaky with all the rambling. Mr Toad got fed up and yelled, “get into a coach and hit the road.”

Here are some questions for you to read. Ask your grown up these questions and write their answers in your journal. Maybe copy the question into your journal and then write the answer…
Can a moth run?
Can a web buzz?
Is a king rich?
Will a box fit in a van?
Can a fish sing?
Has a shop got a chin?
Is a lemon red?
